"Here Tomorrow" Signature Tote Bag

$35.00

The design of this tote bag features the landmark, self-titled painting adorning the Veterans and First Responders building on the Here Tomorrow Campus.

"Here Tomorrow" is a dramatic landscape scene named after the organization, depicting lifeboats traversing a great storm at sea. Some of the rafts in the darkest reach of the storm are empty, symbolizing the friends we have lost to suicide, while other rafts are full of friends who are making it out of the storm or already have. The figures occupying the rafts are reminiscent of veterans and first responders, as this painting was commissioned for their space on the Here Tomorrow campus. The scene transitions to tranquil waters and sunshine, metaphorically translating the journey and destination of mental health recovery. The rainbow has long been an iconic symbol of Here Tomorrow from the very beginning. It has been painted in this scene to represent the organization, its mission, and its unprecedented impact on the mental health world and suicide prevention. The rainbow that Here Tomorrow is, leads us out of life's darkest storms and into the sunshine, where the waters are clear and calm."
